At least 25 people died in northwest Syria due to air strikes by the Syrian government and Russia.

According to the White Helmets, Syria’s and Russia’s airstrikes killed at least 25 people in northwestern Syria.

The military told the media that Russian and Syrian warplanes attacked the rebel-held Idlib city on Sunday, while President Bashar al-Assad was addressing the international community with his intention take back Aleppo.

Witnesses described that one of the attacks happened in a crowded residential area, causing six deaths and a number of serious injuries.
