Russia says no to Donald Trump’s plan for peace to stop the war in Ukraine.

Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov rejected a peace plan from President-elect Donald Trump’s team about the Ukraine crisis, saying it was not acceptable. He disagreed with the idea of postponing Ukraine’s entry into NATO and argued that the plan was trying to make European forces handle the conflict. Lavrov said, “Their idea is to delay Ukraine’s NATO membership for 20 years and send British and European peacekeepers to Ukraine,” and made it clear he was unhappy with these proposals.
