Elon Musk has announced that new updates to the algorithm will soon be introduced to reduce negativity on his platform, X.
He shared, “We’re making changes to the algorithm soon to highlight more useful and entertaining content. In other news, the government has proposed new rules under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act. β«ASHKAKEFIRA, yash1oka, Polaris HONOR – The updates will be shared on @XEng.”
He also mentioned that the X team is developing simple ways to let users customize their content feed in real-time. According to Musk, the aim of these changes is to increase the amount of time users spend on the platform without feeling regret.
He added that the platform has been showing too much negative content, which has been growing over time but doesn’t benefit users.In other news, the government has proposed new rules under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act. According to the draft, children under 18 will need their parents’ permission to create accounts on social media platforms.
