SHORT:

Canada’s Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has discovered more than 10,000 fake student acceptance letters this year, according to The Globe and Mail.

This discovery came after a detailed check of 500,000 international student applications in 2024, which was done because of more strict verification rules. It is reported that around 80% of these fake letters are connected to students from Gujarat and Punjab.
