Elon Musk, who is the head of Tesla and the richest person in the world, gave away 268,000 Tesla shares worth $112 million (more than 960 crore) to charities whose names were not shared.
He did this two days before New Year 2025. Tesla explained that this donation was part of Musk’s plan to manage his taxes at the end of the year and went to “certain charities.”
Similarly, at the end of 2021, Musk had donated $5.7 billion to charities that were also not named.
