SHORT:
The French government has fallen apart because Prime Minister Michel Barnier was removed from his position in a vote where most people didn’t trust him. This happened only three months after he started job.
The other political groups started this vote because they didn’t like how Barnier used special powers to make a budget without getting approval from the parliament. This is the first time since 1962 that a French government has ended because of a vote like this.
Three hundred thirty-one members of parliament voted for the motion, which is more than the 288 needed. Now, Barnier has to quit, and the budget he made won’t work anymore.
