Donald Trump, who is about to become president, asked the Supreme Court to postpone a law that would block TikTok unless its Chinese owner, ByteDance, sells it before he takes office on January 20.
His lawyers requested more time to carefully review the case. Trump, who had earlier criticized TikTok for security reasons and wanted it bought by a U.S. company, has now changed his tone.
He seems more positive about the app and wants to reconsider the possible ban.
