However, Putin also mentioned worries about threats against Trump, such as an attack in Pennsylvania in July and an assassination attempt in Florida in September.
During a press conference in Kazakhstan, Putin spoke out against the harsh methods used against Trump during the campaign and suggested that Trump should stay sharp and careful.
