Sara Netanyahu is being investigated for reportedly mistreating people who criticize her.

Israel’s top legal official has started looking into claims against Sara Netanyahu, the wife of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. She is accused of harassing political opponents and a witness in her husband’s corruption case.

This comes after reports of WhatsApp messages that seem to show she told a former assistant to arrange protests and scare witness Hadas Klein.

The Justice Ministry didn’t mention her by name, but the Prime Minister stood by his wife, saying the report is “false” and blaming her critics and the media for attacking her.

This new investigation adds to the legal troubles the Netanyahu family is already facing, as the Prime Minister is on trial for corruption. He is accused of fraud, breach of trust, and bribery, but he denies these charges, saying he is being unfairly targeted in a “witch hunt.”
