Syrian Prime Minister Plans to Work with Rebels After Assad Leaves.

SHORT;

Syrian Prime Minister Mohammed Ghazi Jalali said he is open to working with rebel groups after Bashar al-Assad went to Russia for safety.

In a talk with Sky News Arabia, he mentioned that “most” of the government leaders are still in Damascus and that the security situation has gotten better.

Jalali explained that the government is talking with the rebels and is prepared to work with rebel leader Ahmad al-Sharaa, even though many officials have their jobs because they are scared of being hurt by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS).
