Starting from January 1, 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi will offer an online visa service for Indian passport holders, including the option to pay offline.
Indian citizens with regular passports can still visit Thailand for up to 60 days without a visa for tourism or short business trips, and this rule will continue until there is a change.
Those applying for an e-visa must pay a fee that cannot be refunded, and the process usually takes around 14 days. Applications must be made through Thailand’s official e-visa website.
Regular passport applications through processing agencies can be submitted until December 16, 2024, and applications for diplomatic or official passports can be submitted until December 24, 2024.
